OSHA is hard at work on developing an injury and illness prevention rule that would ask employers to find and fix hazards in their workplace via a “systematic process” that proactively addresses workplace safety and health hazards. Because of strong turnout at their regularly scheduled stakeholder meetings on developing the proposed rule, OSHA has added two additional stakeholder meetings for July and August.
