MSDSonline is located inside the Apparel Mart, also home to the Suntimes and Holiday Inn.
If you are entering the Mart via the hotel lobby (on the south side of the building) walk straight ahead and take the escalator to the second floor. Go to the bank of elevators to your left. Take one to the 9th floor.
If you are entering the Mart via the skybridge connecting the Apparel Mart with the Merchandise Mart, after the bridge, walk straight, past the escalators, to the bank of elevators. Take one to the 9th floor.
Arriving via CTA Train
Brown, Purple = Merchandise Mart
Blue, Orange, Pink, Green Lines = Clark/Lake Street
Red Line = Grand or Lake Street
Metra
MSDSonline is a short walk from the Ogilvie Metra Station.
Driving
From the South/West – Take 90/94 to the Lake Street Exit. Turn right on Lake. Drive 6 blocks to Wacker Drive (Crossing Chicago River). Turn Left on Wacker. Drive 1 block to Orleans St. Turn left on Orleans. (Cross Orleans Street Bridge) The Apparel Mart is the first building on your left, after the river.
From North/West – Take 90/94 to Ohio Street Exit. Take Ohio to Wells Street. Turn right on Wells. Take Wells 4-1/2 blocks to the Merchandise Mart. Turn right on Merchandise Mart Plaza. Drive straight, past Mart, and cross Orleans St. into Apparel Mart drive way.
From Lake Shore Drive – Take Upper Wacker Drive west to Orleans Street. Turn right on Orleans. Cross Orleans Street Bridge. The Apparel Mart is the first building on your left, after the river.
Parking
Metered parking is available downtown – Be careful. Many streets have parking bans between 7a.m.- 9a.m., and again between 4p.m.- 6p.m. Parking is available at the Apparel Mart. However, less expensive lots are located nearby. On Kinzie west of the river and Canal Street, south of Kinzie.
